Oh Christ, the Master Carpenter who at the last with wood and nails purchased man's whole salvation; wield well thy tools in the workshop of our lives, so that when we come rough-hewn to thy bench we may be fashioned to true beauty by thy hand.
Artist’s Comments:
This wonderful prayer was shared with me by my calligraphy teacher, Reggie Ezell (he had learned it as a little boy from his mother). The design, with a wood grain background, is subtly in the shape of a cross.Michael
